Skills you need along with PHP that is HTML/CSS, Javascript and jquery.

SQL and Apache and any other web server, AJAX is now in demand with JSON. PHP have many frameworks like YII, CI, Cake PHP, laravale and many more. You can choose any one and get expertise on it. CMS is also related to PHP. Many CMS like Word Press, Joomala works on PHP. If you have good expertise on any javascript framework than it will be very helpful to you .
